Guilt...
During my whole fitness journey I've experienced a lot of guilt. And at times I did not know how to handle this feeling. I don't think I'll ever be an expert at handling guilt, I'm human and will always have ups and downs. But I've definitely learned different ways of acknowledging this feeling.

Constructive guilt
Through life I've realized that we're always going to experience different feelings and emotions. Some of them could make us feel negative about ourselves or our actions.
There became a moment where I decided I was over feeling bad about myself. Yes, all it takes is making a decision. And committing to it of course.
Guilt was one of those feelings that limited me towards achieving my goals.
But it didn't have to be that way.
That's when I discovered "constructive guilt".
During my fitness journey I would mostly feel guilty if I ate certain foods or skipped a workout.
If we have certain goals we want to achieve, than this guilt could be used as fuel to commit 100%, and make the right decisions in the future.
That can apply for anything in our lives.
But It will be destructive guilt if all we do is feel bad about ourselves and continue to make the same choices.
In my opinion that's just harming ourselves.
If we continue to make the same choices, than we should accept them. And acknowledge the joy they bring us.
Also, guilt will not change the past or the actions we took. So there is no point on dwelling on the past. (I know it sounds easier than it is.)
All we have is the present and future. It's up to us on creating our best future.
So, fuck guilt. ;)
