I've come to realize that in life good things take time. Not only that, they take dedication and commitment.
One thing I've learned is that it doesn't matter how hard something can get, we won't get any closer if we give up.
First step
Knowledge.
Before beginning our fitness journey we should have an idea of what our goals are.
How will we ever achieve such goals if we don't even know what they are?
When I was beginning I looked for Inspo pics on Pinterest. I saved those pictures and added them to a collage I made, and later I put it as my screen saver.
This helped me so that I could see these pictures daily and be reminded of my goals.
I also followed influencers on social media that had already achieved the fitness goals I wanted. I learned their routines, mentality, meal plans, etc.
That way I had an idea of what I needed to do, to get where I wanted to be.
So my first recommendation would be, to know exactly what our goals are.
Second step
Take action.
Once we know what our goals are then what is left is to take action.
It's important to first find out what workouts are best for us and our goals. There are so many activities that we can do to get into shape.
But different activities have different results on our figures. So that's why it's important to know what exercises are best for us and what we're looking to achieve.

Also once we know what meal plan we need to follow, then we start to follow it. Period!! LOL
It's important we remember that our nutrition is just as important as our workouts.
"Start before you're a ready".
I really like that quote because it's so true!
We might not always feel 100% ready to start something new, but it doesn't matter, as long as we start.
It's not going to be perfect, but it will be worth it.
Third step
Trust the process.
Once we're confident with our goals and our fitness plan then the only thing left is to let time tell.

It's easier said than done.
I've realized that time can sometimes go by very slow or very fast. In this case it might go by slow.
Usually us humans want things immediately, in different ways.
That might be one of the first reasons people decide to quit. Because they don't see results quickly.
It's not easy.
But if we're confident with our decisions then the only thing left is to trust ourselves and our bodies.
All I can say, is that it's a rocky road, no where near perfect, but it only get's better each day!
