Why wake up at 6:00 am?

For me it's 6:00 am, for somebody else it could be 5:00 am, 7:00 am or even 4:00 am. The time is irrelevant what I mean to say, why is it important to wake up early?
It's been a journey for me to become a morning person. But I'm happy of how far I've come and all the benefits it's brought me.
Why?
Personally I think everyones "why" could be different. There isn't a right or wrong answer. It's what works best for each one of us.
I have a couple reasons of why I've chosen to wake up early.
First of all it's not easy.
It being something out of my comfort zone and a daily challenge, pushes me to keep doing it.
I'm always looking to grow as a human being, these little actions help me demonstrate to myself what I'm capable of accomplishing.
Honestly I don't have to wake up early. I currently have enough free time during the day that I could use to go the gym or do any productive activity, but that's too easy for me.
Like I mentioned, I enjoy challenges.
Another reason why I choose to wake up early is because it gives me a routine. Right now, if I want to achieve my fitness goals, a routine is a must.
Since our body is working towards these goals there has to be repetitive actions. So I try my best to stick to my routine, that way I can begin to notice results.
Lastly I choose to wake up early because I value my time. And waking up early has only given me the opportunity to gain more time.
Time that I can use to be productive or even just be lazy if that's what I wish to do.
If we wake up early, we're just ahead of the game. We're awake before everyone else. That means we have the time to achieve what others aren't achieving.
Time is valuable.
How?
With an alarm.
LOL, but seriously there isn't much of an answer on how. It just depends on us deciding to wake up early.
Once we're able to truly understand the value it has in our live's, then we'll wake up when the alarm goes off in the morning.
I'm not saying it's easy, We will always have to fight that little voice that tells us "5 more minutes".
But it truly depends on us. And having the capacity to stick with what we told ourselves we would do.
Once we start respecting our decisions and doing what we told ourselves we would do, there's no space for us to tolerate an outsider not respecting our time.
That's why I call this lifestyle a mindset, it changes so many aspects in our live's, in a good way of course.
